Meet Dr. Kurt von Rice, DC, CACChiropractor, Acupuncture and Animal Chiropractor in Phoenix AZ

Phoenix Chiropractor, Dr. Kurt von Rice, has been providing exceptional chiropractic care to patients in the Phoenix, Scottsdale & Paradise Valley area for over 25 years.

Dr. von Rice’s background includes Chiropractic,  Acupuncture, clinical nutrition counseling, clinical neurology and sports related injuries. He also holds the CAC Certified Animal Chiropractor certification and frequently treats Horse & Dog patients as well.  He has a BS in Human Biology and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1988. He did his chiropractic internship at the Whittier Health Center.

As an asthmatic child, he spent a lot of time in the traditional medical model and always hated being just another number to whoever was treating him. “I always hated the doctor that hid behind his tie and lab coat and wouldn’t answer my questions.” Dr. von Rice’s relaxed demeanor and office atmosphere help ease the patient’s concerns but it doesn’t mean he takes their healthcare lightly. “My patients get treated the same way I would want my mom or dad treated by any of their doctors.”

Dr. von Rice has never stopped learning to provide his patients with the best chiropractic care possible. Not only is he a licensed chiropractor trained in Diversified, Drop Table and Activator technique, but is board certified in Acupuncture and Physiotherapy, is a Diplomate and a Fellow with the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture, has completed post doctoral studies in Chiropractic Neurology, has been to the Peoples Republic of China to participate in a medical / chiropractic exchange of current scientific procedure regarding the use of acupuncture. He has done extensive post graduate work in clinical nutrition, applied kinesiology, and is proficiency rated in the use of the Activator adjusting instrument. His expertise allows him to accurately find and remove central nervous system interference. Restoring central nervous system function allows him to achieve incredible and dramatic results with the most difficult, chronic and degenerative cases.

“Having grown up most of my life in Phoenix, I could not imagine any better place to return to and start helping people” Dr. Kurt
